LitterMaid Waste Receptacles

The LitterMaid Waste Receptacles are reusable/disposable replacement plastic cat-waste containers that eliminate most waste odors. They are easily installed in the litter box, a unit which rakes litter clumps 10 minutes after the exit of the cat. These clumps are deposited into one such waste receptacle.

A pack of 2 sets of extra sealable cover and base costs about $20.00. The container measures 13” long, 4“wide and 3 ½” deep. A box of 12 costs about $30.00. It is made of heavy gauge plastic and each piece is a complete receptacle and not mere liners.

The sealed disposable waste receptacle provides safe and easy disposal of waste when full. To facilitate removal, the two push tabs in the waste receptacle compartment cover is pressed to detach the lid. The cover is then lifted to expose the closed disposable waste receptacle assembly. The four corners of the lid are pressed to secure the lid to the waste receptacle. The disposable waste receptacle is pulled edge free from the tabs holding it in place. Lift out and dispose.
